Anti-’Gangsta Lean’ Campaign

Sorry today has provided me much inspiration and whilst I wait for reports to run. I will quickly re write the rules on what you are and and are not allow to do whilst in motor vehicles.

As expertly recreated in MS Paint, I was an observer to a young male driving like this (please use some imagination) this morning, in what seemed to be his Mum’s Ford Fiesta (old model and it was blue). I wasn’t sure of the exact number plate so I just estimated. (It was probably closer to Douche’s Mum’s Car, but that wouldn’t fit)

So I have decided to make a list of cars you are not allowed to do that in. Ever.

1. Honda jazz

2. Any Hyundai

3. Any older model Ford, (excluded is the GT 500)

4. Honda CRV (I tested this out in ours and felt like a douche)

5. Ford laser

6. Holden Astra

7. Any Holden

8. Audi TT (Daiahatsu Copen is acceptable)

9. Nissan Skyline R30/33/34(GTST model)

10. Mazda 3

11. Mitsubishi Mirage

12. Mitsubishi Lancer (any with Chrome aftermarket tail lights)

13. VW Polo

14. VW EOS

15. Toyota Corolla

16. Any BMW older than this year.

17. Audi RS4 (too gangsta to be gansta leaning in especially the Advant)

18. Mostly all cars

19. Those $50 mountain bikes you see people rding on with the motor attached.

20. Those thin Skate boards that are back in fashion

21. Dunlop Volley Shoes

22. Any clothes from Glue Store

23. Roller shoes are ok if the child is Gangsta

24. Ikea Trolley (unless you bought expidite book shelf they are gangsta)

25. VW Beetle (new version)

26. Any care with a Tape deck

27. Toyota utes with carpet on the rear tray and some empt chrome tool boxes

28. Horses (mules are totally more gangsta)

29. Any car with flag of any nationality on rear view mirror

30. Any car with Garter belt hanging from review mirror

31. Any Car going through McDonalds’ Drive through (please refrain from being gangsta as Mcdonalds’ workers deserve our respect)

32. Vespas

33. Yellow Cars (Lancer Evolution 9 exception)

34. Yellow motorbikes

35. Guys on motors bikes in thongs, shorts, and muscle shirt/singlets.

iPhone protection

Look. We all love how sexy the iPhone4/4s is. Siri voice or not. It looks beautiful and no wants to see it get wrecked right?

Well through following DNA11 art on face book and the web I was pointed in the direction of gelaskins.com

These skins for a lot of devices are just awesome. Designed by artists and uploaded by you, the skins come with free wallpaper to make your iPhone or device look as though it is capsulated in a beautiful design tech master piece.

There are just so many cool designs to choose from and even me, the resident ‘installation idiot’ they are easy to apply. That is one a of the best points. They are removable. Swappable. Exchangeable. Changeable.

This means during installation it doesn’t matter if you need to reposition. And believe me I did. But now installed for mr and mrs panda’s phones they look great.

Gelaskins also offer a free iPhone app downloadable from the app store to keep your wallpaper fresh. All for free.

Go and get some. They are really great. And less then 1mm thick. You cannot even feel the beautiful skin on your phone.

Totally recommend this life hack.

Blue Lounge iPhone. [received and loved]

Well, with super quick UPS shipping from Blue Lounge I have already received some of my goodies from them .

As you would expect they are just awesome. All are complete life hacks and the price was quite competitive. Here are some pictures of the MiniDock in action

looks good, but unfortunately two iPhones cannot be plugged in side by side in the conventional Australian power point. It also sits a little further out from the wall due to the alternative Australian Power supply.

but it still beats the crap out of hanging it on the bench via the messy cable.

I also purchased the Milo iPhone holder so I could integrate it into my work space. it is very handy especially for making video calls, and using the iPhone as a flip clock. It is a stylish addition to my work place.

This is just for cool value, it does get your iPhone off the desk and scratch free. All of these were pretty ok cost wise. Shipping was a bit steep but considering the price you pay the delivery was super fast, like super fast.

All of the products were made in the highest of quality and do not have any flaws. The product description was spot on, and I am extremely satisfied, now just to get my Bluelounge.com iPad2 kicks.

I would definitely look for future products from blue lounge

Bluelounge….New iPhone accessories!

So I couldn’t help myself and decided to buy some new gadget-y accessories. Of course they are for the iPhone.

I decided to buy some new stuff from bluelounge.com.

Due to our family owning multiple iPhones, and an iPad2, all supported with media streaming from our HTPC, there is really no reason to get carried away and buy a MacBook or an iMac…..yet. So in the meantime I decided I needed a little dock/stand. What better one to get than the ‘Milo’ from Bluelounge.

It is indeed now a mini iMac or at least will be once I take delivery of the shiny goods, that smell like fresh computery plastic goodness.

I also purchased a couple of these cool ‘miniDocks’, the premise being is that when plugged into a charger your phone is usually on the floor and kickable, also difficult to use.

These little docks, I think will be great for the kitchen, or lounge room where your phone can be docked and charging whilst easily accessible and functional. that look pretty tidy you have to admit.

And then finally, not happy with the sloppy fit of the iPad case I accidentally got for our iPad2. I got some ‘Kicks’, this way I can get the smart cover I originally purchase with our iPad back out. and I can have the iPad2 in its beautiful uncased sexy form on show for all to see.

Cute streamlined feet-y goodness. Nice thinking, simple, probably a bit of a rip off but hey. I didn’t think of it.

Anyways, I will let everyone know what they are like when I recieve them, of course I am sure they will come in great packaging.

Little and cute. From $55k to $88k

The “city car” is all the rage with both Aston Matrin and Ferrari now jumping on the band wagon. The price tag is definitely for the over indulgent though.

but both are terribly cute

This is the “Abarth 695 Tributo”, the miniature Ferrari’s 1.4-litre turbocharged engine produces 132kW of power and 250Nm of torque. – can’t wait for Barabus to get a hold of one.

And also the Aston, both are a little similar, but if you had the money you would start collecting ‘squashed’ supercars, Not exactly a DB9 but very cute
